Ruin to reform. . Potential . WALKING DISTANCE to local bar-restaurant . Open-air SWIMMING Pool in the village surrounded by sub-tropical planting . TRADITIONAL Spanish Environment This property is located in the lovely village of Yunquera. Entering the property there is one room downstairs and one room upstairs. The intention of the current owners was to demolish the property and rebuild a 3 story property. The idyllic village of Yunquera sits between El Burgo and Alozaina on the Ronda – Málaga road. Entering the relatively large village, piece and tranquillity meets you. Surrounded by spectacular mountain peaks, which winter snow covers for a few weeks each year, you feel embraced by the beauty of Mother Nature. Life in this somewhat excluded village goes at a slower pace. Surrounded by olive and citrus farmers and also home to wine growers, there are many wonderful local products available in the village shops, bars and restaurants. We especially love the fresh baked bread rolls of the local bakery! The authentic streets with some of the most beautiful whitewashed buildings in Andalusia make Yunquera a truly charming place to be. When there are festivities, the whole village decorates the streets and houses together with beautifully coloured flowers and flags. Close to the village is stunning nature to explore, ideal for hiking, biking or horse riding. On a weekend evening, you can join the locals at the foot of the Nuestra Señora de la Encarnacíon church for a drink and a tapas at one of bars. Yunquera is located 65 minutes (60 km.) from the city of Málaga and the airport. The beaches of the Costa del Sol (Torremolinos) are a 55 minutes (55 km.) drive away.

Country house of 100 square meters, south facing, perfect place to look for tranquility. The plot has olive and almond trees, about 3,323 square meters in Arroyo Estepera (Between the towns of Guaro and Tolox). The entrance is by a concrete lane, it has a water intake and the possibility of putting electricity. Its interior is diaphanous so it can be built to suit the buyer for different utilities (single-family housing, housing for rural tourism or ship), its price is 90000 euros, has housing deed and papers in order. Very sunny location with excellent mountain views. Built with high quality materials, this property is distributed on one floor with fireplace exit and possibility of building a pool. Comment of the seller: in my opinion it is a very interesting house because its price is far below the market, we must bear in mind that with the current urban law, this type of housing can no longer be built because they do not grant licenses to build these types of houses that is declared by deed as a single-family home. Being a diaphanous housing can be given innumerable utilities either for rural tourism, for residence or for rent, for celebrations of weddings, baptisms, communions etc, even can be divided into two apartments, the house is ideal for holiday rental therefore It gives a lot of play to carry out all kinds of reforms in the same, whether it is a kitchen extension or the construction of an added room and given its location, it is very desirable because it is a quiet area.

MOORISH Style . Beautiflly AUTHENTICALLY reformed . Charming property . Roof SOLARIUM . Lovely open views . Short walk to the several shops and TAPAS bars This is an older cottage style house close to the center of the village and all the amenities. The house has been fully restored and renovated and has been checked by an independent architect/survejor. The house has its own roof terrace on the third level. The house is situated in a little village 20 minutes from Marbella and is ideal as a small lock and leave getaway or rustic holiday retreat. The house is not suitable for a large family for living, but is suited for a couple for full time living or just for holidays. GUARO is a white village, located on the edge of the Sierra de las Nieves natural park. Thanks to its elevated position, at over 350 metres above sea level, the village offers privileged views across the surrounding countryside. The area is known for producing almonds and olives, which is an important part of the local economy. Guaro has it ́s own olive mill, where locals have their harvests pressed. On the Grapevine Properties Youtube channel, you find a video about this authentic mill and the harvest process of the locals. The village of Guaro is also used as an Eastern base for access to the Sierra de las Nieves, where you have stunning nature hikes and adventurous activities. It is the ideal spot for outdoor lovers, which also offers a few famous cultural activities like the Luna Mora festival in September. Like many white villages in Andalucia, the village dates back to the Arabic occupation of Spain. Luna Mora, translated as Moorish Moon is an historic celebration with arts, crafts and music in the open air amphitheatre of the village. Throughout the evenings of the festival, there is a Moorish style street souk, and the entire village is illuminated by over 20.000 candles which is truly beautiful to experience! Each July the village celebrates its annual pilgrimage parade or ‘Romeria' terminating at the tiny chapel of ‘Ermita del Santuario del Puerto'. Another typical Andalusian event, where everybody is welcome to join in. Guaro is located 55 minutes (50 km.) from the city of Málaga and the airport and the beaches of the Costa del Sol (Marbella) are only a 35 minute (24 km.) drive away!

If you want outward bound living this is the one for you, situated on the last plot near the top of the hill with outstanding views over the surrounding country side, the house consists of two bedrooms, 1 bathroom,, Kitchen, (not fitted), lounge diner, and a storeroom, mains water is connected and also has it s own well, electric will have to be Solar power (not fitted) the house is approx. 6 kms from the village of Tolox, but would need a 4x4 car to access the plot. Tolox the village is quietly famous as the site of the Fuente Amargosa Health Spa.(sulphur waters) Standing at the entrance to the spectacular nature (and hunting) reserve of the Sierra de las Nieves, the spa makes use of the water which flows at the rate of 15,000 litres a day from the mountains. The water gives off a mildly radioactive gas which is said by its ability to work wonders with respiratory ailments. At the spa, the gas is sprayed directly into the mouths and nostrils of the "patients". Tolox has a long history. In the tenth century it formed part of the independent Moorish kingdom of Soleimán, son of the rebellious Omar den Hafsun. Soleimán was far too friendly and tolerant towards the Christians for other harder-line Moors' liking, and in 921 Abderrahman III overthrew him and absorbed his domain. It is a place of much charm: peaceful for the most part, with two notably manic exceptions. Shrove Tuesday, the final day of the annual Tolox carnival, is known as Dia de los Polvos (Day of the Powder). In a tradition which has undergone many changes, but which is said to have its roots in a Christians vs Moors riot in the 16th Century, the entire population takes to the street to hurl talcum powder at each other. The second outbreak of communal lunacy is saved for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8th. Known as la cencerrada, this involves running around ringing bells and making as much noise as possible. Once again, this is said to be an echo of Christian/Moors conflict . Due to the large numbers of pilgrims who make their way to the Tolox spa every year, there are a many places to stay in the area. However, just this year a spectacular alternative to the in-town offering came onto the scene: a rustic wonder in typical Andalusian architecture perched high on the mountain above the spa and looking out on the vast rolling country side below.

Living the true Andalusian village life. . Bags of potential . Outdoor space . Walking distance to many TAPAS Bars . Charming Spa Village . National Park This townhouse is one for all Andalusian seasons: light, shade, inside, outside, cool, calm, safety, space. Even though you are only a 2 minute walk away from the nearest grocery stores, little bars or the plazas, this little street is as tranquil as can get. The official paperwork of the house dates from 1948, after which for a long time it has been a bakery shop. From the rocks and rocky foundation, you can see that its origins and history are a lot older: it is within the walls of the old Moorish castle, and the surrounding street plan has not changed much since 1505. You can see that the house has been adapted to suit all seasons. From the front door you walk through a lounge, then a dining room, then a downstairs toilet and a little kitchen. This floor is ideal to escape the heat and eye piercing light of the long, hot summers. A staircase leads to the 1st floor, where on one end you find 1 spacious bedroom with a balcony, and on the other side a bathroom with shower. In between is a tiny room that has been used as a spare room for a single guest, as well as office or storage room. Another staircase leads to the 2nd floor. You arrive in a room that used to be the washing room, and that has a terrace that is small, yet big enough for table and chairs. This washing room is also connected to another room that could be a bedroom, or winter lounge, and that again has its own balcony. This 2nd floor makes a great winter floor, because it always catches the sun. Now there is also a back entrance from a back alley, at a lower level. Through that door you arrive in a patio in which you still see that the house is built on the rocks. From here you walk into the cellar floor of the house, which exists of small spaces that are suitable for storage or a bodega. An staircase leads to you back to the ground floor. From that back door you walk within minutes to a street where you can park, 2 small streams, and the "campo" or countryside and the hills and mountains of the National Park, a paradise for hikers, nature lovers and bird watchers. Because of its lack of industry, the quality of the clean air of Tolox is among the highest in Andalusia (and that says something). You are also within minutes at a gym, summer public swimming pool, over a dozen tape-bars and restaurants, a dozen grocery stores... it's a village you never need to leave if you don't want to. The charming white village of Tolox lies against the steep hills of the Sierra de las Nieves, at the end of a side road from the C-344 Málaga-Ronda.
